I think he meant the board of directors, not GAF.
Right. I know Oscar said "well that's not the board's problem" in the past, which is true: But they obviously have to be seeing people going "well, Nintendo's online offerings isn't as good as the 360/PS3/next-gen offerings for Call of Duty, so why would I buy it on the Wii U? It didn't get Battlefield 3 or 4, so why would I buy the system when Battlefield 5 is guaranteed to not show up on it?" Etc. etc. etc. I mean these things are being said by potential buyers, the board of directors HAVE to hold Iwata accountable for fumbling these things.
Especially the online store system and it holding potential buyers off. No excuse for not having a DRM system in 2013 that isn't "we tie it to the hardware. New systems? Too damn bad!"
Reddit is horrible for discussion because of its karma system.
Any dissenting opinion is downboated into oblivion.
And mostly jokes and comments referencing reddit memes make it to the top.
So... like all internet message boards, then?
