I watched the Host yesterday. She was good in it, but man is she way too pretty.
Sorry to hear that. (I kid, sort of, but speaking overall it really is terrible. I almost regret seeing it in theatres.) I myself watched How I Live Now a couple of nights ago and thought it was good despite its flaws; definitely her best film of the year, both in terms of overall quality and her performance in particular.
Oh, a shtick where you fool everyone into believing you're obsessed with a young celebrity, I wish I had thought of that.
Something of a shtick, not entirely -- I suppose what I mean is that I inadvertently managed to carve out a bit of an identity for myself, for better or worse, but this certainly was not and is not the intention. I don't deny the celebrity crush aspect but outside of GAF I rarely talk about her and the closest thing I have to a picture of her sitting in my room is probably the Hanna Blu-ray.
I should probably note that contrary to what somebody said earlier in the thread, although the whole celebrity crush thing has indeed been something of my shtick for a while now, I don't actually have any from when she was a child. Assume of me what you will but a little benefit of the doubt wouldn't hurt. :p
