There are beard and body hair trimmers specifically designed for the purpose. They all come with these clip on bits to vary the closeness of the shave. The Phillips Body Groom was pretty popular a while ago.

Close shaves suck regardless of what you use. The hair grows back in with pointy ends, since you're shearing them off at an angle. It makes the skin on skin chafing that much worse. If you want to go for the pre-pubescent look, use wax or nair.

To be fair, there's a distinction to make between those who refuse to buy a non-Steam game they're interested in solely because it's not on Steam and those like myself who don't give a shit about the game at all and just want it for that delicious +1. (And somewhere in the middle there are those who weren't overly interested but wanted the game on Steam for the simple convenience of consolidation in case the desire to play were to arise in the future.) GAF's PC gaming clique doesn't have as many Steam "fanboys" as some (like water_wendi) seem to believe.

Naw. I don't like my balls licked or fondled anyway, so they stay fuzzy unles specifically requested otherwise. The fur's really useful in summer. Prevents them from sticking to my legs. Not reliably, but it's worse when they're shaven.
That said, I suppose they're the least irritating when the hair grows back in.

To be fair, it is more difficult to use on your body so I'm not surprised you didn't use it on your legs and shit. I shave my downstairs with my merkur after trimming w/scissors, but it takes some skill and patience. I just think that it's objectively better; cheaper, closer shaves, and for people with nappy facial and pubic hair (mostly coloreds) it doesn't cause as many ingrowns. My old 3 blade used to, and the canned creams destroyed my face.

Some of us aren't white which means that we get razor bumps easily due to sensitive skin. Not all people can use shaving cream and a razor.

Now hold up. Only for the nether regions, but thisismyusername says it doesn't work for that, so what do I know. I've only ever shaved my balls with a razor but 99% of the time I'd rather leave the hair on and just trim. If you can bear to shave the stubble every other day then I guess go ahead, but it doesn't sound smart to me when you could just wax every other week or however long it takes.
If we're talking face then yeah, a good safety razor is better than that over-priced multi-razor garbage. Straight-razors are overkill.

It doesn't have to come with a badger brush and a matching ceramic bowl for the soap and shit. Shaving oil, safety razor, done. That's not exactly gonna break anyone's bank. Hell, even full sets are pretty affordable.

Had this argument on Facebook recently after a guy I know went on a rant about welfare queens making his taxes so high and how he was "soooo glad" that he worked so they didn't have to. Leaned in on him pretty hard about Reagan tax cuts, lack of jobs, Ceo:employee wage disparity, etc. He got flustered and said "fine whatever youre right I'm wrong, happy?" I kinda was.

Personally I see nothing wrong with not allowing people to use food stamps to buy certain things. Many states have laws like that, including Michigan. Personally I'd restrict cigarette, and having worked at a dental office I'd lean towards restricting pop.
