I think Lexapro sucks, none of that family does much of anything for me either good or bad other than it made me feel randomly sluggish in the middle of the day sometimes and kill my appetite, I didn't quit cold turkey and took my doctors suggestion of sorta stepping my doses until I was down to the original, then after another day quitting, so like a week instead of the more widely suggested three or whatever it is. But my doctor has always been laid-back about things like that. Even once was like "nah, just take an extra Xanax or two if you need to, infact, let me write you a prescription for twice as much since you're handling it well."
Klonopin is the one where he's said "do not just suddenly quit taking this" and really emphasized it.
I guess I was mostly thinking of the dude on GAF who was taking Lexapro at 30mg or something for a year and quit cold turkey. After just a few months you're probably okay, but his method seems like the one that gives you the shitty side effects and withdrawal.
