That was terrible.

The gameplay that was shown was barely recognizable as MGS gameplay and the entire trailer was one giant wank fest. MGS died with 3.

Hard to get excited when MGS3 and MGS4 were both initially said to be open world games before getting scaled back. We don't have release date, it's current gen, etc etc.

Having said that, I appreciate how dumb it is. Not stupid dumb like Peace Walker, but dumb dumb like MGS2.

The Phantom Pain = Big Shell

while I doubt it'll happen, it would be cool if cutscenes are real time and change depending on when you reach them. it wouldn't really make sense either, but w/e.

I won't believe Hayter got the cold shoulder until I get all the way through the credits and the end call. They're getting awfully close to connecting to the Solid Snake arc and I don't wanna hear the replacement. So even then, I'll have to wait for Solid Snake to show up again and talk in someone else's voice before I believe he's done as Snake.

Dishonored is a lot fun, though all the cool powers tend to make it easier to be stealthy than in other stealth games. It's got a lot of story, but the cutscenes and talking heads are mostly confined to the hub area between "levels."
