Go to the Able Sisters everyday and talk to Sable. The first few days she's like "feck off" but after a couple of days she starts to be nice to you, and after about a week she lets you use the QR machine.

Also, I got the QR machine, Kicks, and the T&T Mart today. My town is moving on up.

Oh my god. My town ranking has gone down a notch. I went from Great or Amazing, to just So-so. I did the same thing I always do yesterday. What gives?! Summer Solstice Day officially SUCKS.

Being able to take this anywhere is the bane of my existence.

To be fair, I have left my 3ds idle for many hours. I left it idle for at least 5-8 hours a day the past week to get a tan on the island. Never mind when I didn't know you could still left friends come over if you put the system to sleep so I just left my 3ds open all night. That's another 8-10 hours. In reality I've probably clocked 70-80 hours.

What? No. I left the game on not in sleep mode. Apparently, you can still have friends come over if your gate is open even if you put the 3ds to sleep though, so that's good to know.

Built my second floor and basement.

Now have a 428k loan to work off. :'( Already paid half of it after a trip to the island.

Got an axe today!!!!!!! Cleared all the non-fruit trees on my "private section" of the town (it's a piece of land separated from the rest by the river, has no other townies on it, and connects directly to the beach and dock.)

I almost forgot to check the stumps for the patterns to make sure I get good mushrooms. I have one that has a heart on it which I think is rare so I'm keeping it.

464 bell turnips all day. Leaving my gate open all day, just drop in. Will have 3ds in sleep mode.

Isabelle gave me a different town poll. Today villagers think there's a perfect balance between natural and developed areas. Probably due in part of my planting 30-50 trees over the past few days.

THey still want more public places. So I'm building a police station and after that a wind turbine. Villagers are suggesting me new stuff all the time now that I've stopped being mean to two of my villagers. I'm edging closer to the perfect town rating I crave one day at a time. I spit on whoever says these games are without goals.

After that I'll upgrade my house as a reward.
