My 7 year old niece visited my town! :D

We caught a KK show together. :)

I visited her town too. She's an AC newbie!

Dapper mode activate! If only I dressed so well IRL...

So calm.  :heart

So serene. Animal Crossing is like a zen garden.

He asked to look into his eyes and tell him what I saw... so I did.

*yawn* Just ten emotes left before I have the complete set!

The town tree looks dead now. :(

Decked out for Christmas! Nabbed a "red pom-pom hat" from Labelle and a "tacky sweater" from Gracie. :)

Also! I caught a Bagworm today which means I only have TWO BUGS LEFT!! I can catch a Dung Beetle next month, but will have to wait until June for the final bug (Snail.) Still, it's so exciting being this close.

On that note I also only have three fish left, and seven deep-sea fish. Soooooo close.

IT'S SNOWING OMG

My favorite villager Antonio moved away. :( He's been in my town from the start. :( He gave me his pic. :'( :'(

Calm snowfall~

New Police Station opened! Gives me fond memories of the first game. :heart (First time I've seen one since then in fact, wasn't in Wild World or City Folk.)

Where's Booker tho? :/

(I chose the modern police station since it looked closer to the original game's, but I always liked Booker more as an officer...)

Whaaaaattt?? (Apparently you can trade them to snowpeople for furniture.)

Well since you buttered me up...

Dude has like, serious family issues...

OMGYES

NOW it's Christmastime. Err, Toy Daytime.

YEEEEeeeaaaahhh

Jingle better step off, I got Santa duties this year. :wag

Me and my niece dressed up for Toy Day!

I can actually buy this now!

#FabulousAsHell

My niece really got in the Toy Day spirit, her house was insane!

Gave the crown to her, it is Toy Day after all.

My blink game is on point.

Who are YOU spending Toy Day with?

THIS PIC IS PERFECT OMG.

Taking a break from the cold. As always, Kapp'n spitting that truth.

I feel out of place dressed like this...

Running along the beach~

You're welcome, ma'am! Now gimme furniture!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Where the hell is that last weed...

Only five emotes left!

Had to ditch the bed-head.

Mmm... the best.

Another wonderful day in Serres.

Free update coming this fall which adds Amiibo support. Looks like you can now force certain villagers to move in/back to your town.  :o

Also some Splatoon shit, cause why not.

That is honestly a really unexpected update. I thought they were done with that game forever ago  :lol Might give this a go.

Decent amount of content.

I'd be down with AC becoming F2P and doing DLC expansion packs every so often. Doubly so if it were also on smartphones.

Tasty

Am I going to finally cave and buy some Amiibo cards just to get villagers from my Animal Crossing GC file into New Leaf? Yes. Yes I am.

COFFEE

M...mushroom furniture?

Autumn's End~

Booker! I haven't seen you in eight years!

Cleaned out Gracie's. Sales ftw.

Only have three emotes left!

Yes! The best part of Welcome Amiibo.

Time to don my Toy Day outfit, welcome friends over to my place, and exchange gifts.  8)

I love both but they're nothing alike.

Made the mistake of grabbing an amiibo in anticipation of the update before realizing I can't use it on the OG 3DS. Might end up biting the bullet and buying the NFC reader, which would make this the fourth time I've bought an accessory for a single game on a Nintendo system lol

Yeah I went to update this on my niece's 2DS and had to delete basically everything except Smash on her 4GB card. A high capacity card might be a good stocking stuffer this year.

Myself, even though I'm digital only, I don't have to worry since I use a 64 GB card. :doge

its 2:46 am and youre playing animal crossing. for a moment you’re not stressed; it’s raining and you’re at peace

Seeing this got me playing tonight again for the first time in about a year. The only light coming from my TV and candle while the rain softly fell outside. :heart

Roach duty and bedhead are the worst. -_-

Never not chillaxing.

My favorite club already closed for the night. :( I mean it was almost 2am but I wanted one more dance in~

Blathers is always a ray of sunshine though. :-[

Ending the night with a trip to Brewster's.

Didn't one of the directors or producers of this series leave Nintendo?

I remember they had to reboot the mobile game during development as well.
It seems a bit mismanaged.  :doge

The next animal crossing needs a way to play with strangers easily online but Nintendo won’t ever allow that. It needs itnbecause once your friends stop playing it’s not as fun and you soon stop playing because the nightly excursions to the island are no longer because you miss your buds. See? It’s making Tasty play the game alone like a nut and that should be so lonely!

Transferring from other thread...

Andy check your stalk market for me this week please. I've invested heavily in some turnips and don't want it to go to waste. I'll be checking for you too. Right now my turnip prices are selling 94 bells. No hint of a trend.

I will! Unfortunately I won't be able to tonight, and opening my gates in the AM is spotty (remember to check in both the AM and PM for different prices!) :)

So I'll be posting my turnip prices here when I can, and will leave my gate open if I get pay dirt. :heart

Was dragging my feet on these two, could have caught them at any point on Tortimer Island, so... done.

Museum status:

67/67 fossils [complete]
71/72 bugs (need to donate walking leaf... :maf)
29/30 deep-sea creatures (need horseshoe crab)
70/72 fish (missing giant snakehead and king salmon)
15/25 paintings
3/8 sculptures

Redd is a huge bottleneck... need to check with the police station for when he's showing up more often.

Only Kapp'n could make this sound soulful...
