The trailer music in Smash Bros. U is HORRIBLE.

Is there gonna be a demo on the show floor?

Why would anyone want a Galaxy 3, Bebpo? I'm saying this as someone who had Galaxy as their number one title this gen.

I don't mean Galaxy 3 literally, I just mean the next big original 3d Mario that each system gets that is both creatively and visually impressive.

Super Mario 3D World looks fun, but a spiritual successor to SMG it is not.

It's crazy to think that within a year of the Gamecube being released Nintendo had put out Mario Sunshine, Pikmin, Metroid Prime, Smash Brothers, Star Fox Adventures, and Eternal Darkness, among others.  Relative to the Xbox and the PS2 it was a software drought.  Compared with the Wii U it's like an oasis.

Super Mario World looks super Nintendo cheap. Just like New Super Mario.

Ya GC was awesome if you didn't think about 3rd party games.  You forgot RE remake too.

Kotaku just launched an article explaining what's up with Nintendo.  Apparently some one accidentally told the dev-slaves that the Emperor has surrendered and the war was lost and they've been in a depressive slump ever since.

Parts of SM3DW could easily be mistaken for a Mario Party game. That's not a good thing.  :-\

You mean there are still Mario characters--and they race carts around Mario themed tracks?

In terms of visual quality, it doesn't look like any other Mario Kart

Both looks old to me, maybe Mario Kart HD would have been impressive in 2006/8. Now it just looks last gen already.

This will be damage control, like when they announce these new smash games before development started on them.  I expect a new zelda.  We will see a non-playable trailer next e3.

Seriously, it's baffling how Nintendo made two of their premiere titles seem about as exciting as Wolf Blitzer.

I missed the Direct this morning, but I just watched it. Summary:
- X looks nice, 2014.
- Bayo 2 looks nice, 2014.
- MK is nice, 2014.
- Smash is smash, never bought any of them, 2014.
- Mario 3DL2 is sweet, barely made it this year.
- Zero new 3rd party snatch-ups. Zero new game announcements... Oh wait, DKRC2 was announced, by Retro lol. In other words they weren't working on a new IP, mature IPs, Metroid/F-Zero crossover. Poor Ninthings. :lol

Reggie is on right now apologizing on GT. When asked about where's the variety he admitted people buy Nintendo systems only for Mario. And that "I keep hearing people weren't satisfied with what was announced yesterday." Head > Butt :rofl

This game company is nowhere near prepared. If I didn't know any better I'd say they're not in a state of urgency.

My Wii U purchases for the rest of the year: W101, Mario 3DL2... can't hold this many no-games!

And yes it has exactly the same levels and designs like any other Mario kart game instead of some FRESH designs. Typical Nintendo copy pasta.

Remember when the Wii and Mario Galaxy were unveiled and our assholes exploded? Nintendo announced the newest Mario for its new system and it's a sequel to its handheld Mario.

It looked good, 3DL was hot, but they failed to recreate that hype.

Nintendo just isn't trying it anymore. The new Mario looks so uninspired and cheap. Mario Kart is nothing new, and the Smash game is also the same old shit.

This E3 confirmed that Nintendo has lost it.

X looked great tho. I'm glad Monolith is working on it, and not Nintendo.
