So I bought a Blu starter kit because the cigarette store down the block had them on special for $35, and I figured if I hated e-cigs $35 isn't that big a loss. I can move up to the ones that put out clouds of vapor and have huge batteries later on. This came with a charger pack, two batteries, five e-cig cartridges, and a car charger, so not a bad deal at all.
I got the Variety kit, which had tobacco, menthol, cherry, and vanilla cartridges. So far I've only tried the tobacco, and it isn't too bad. Throat hit is kind of like smoking a light cigarette. It's hard to know when to stop "smoking" them, so I'm keeping it to around 7-8 deeper puffs until I learn how much is enough. I still have a pack of regular cigarettes, so I'll probably rotate until those are gone to ease the transition.
It's not bad. Easy to use, replicates the smoking experience reasonably well. I won't really know if it is a complete substitute until I run out of normal cigarettes.
