Transformers sucked. I hated that stuff as a kid. Until Beast Wars.

I also hated GI Joe.

My early child loves were Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmations, Lady and the Tramp, Beauty and the Beast, Looney Tunes, Pee Wee, and Ninja Turtles. I never had a GI Joe or Transformer in my toy collection until I was like 10 years old and I'm proud of that.

Oh please. It was fine at the time. When Reboot came out, I never saw a tv show like that. It (Beast Wars not Reboot) looks like shit now but was state of the art in the 90's

Guys im not kidding, those 8 first minutes of the GI Joe movie are better then most movies Ive seen this year. I don't think its nostalgia talking, its all just so elegant how she infiltrates that base.

Id kickstart a real life action remake of this movie.

Meanwhile in third world countries, where Hasbro's merchandise had almost non-existent presence, people wondered why most cartoons were mostly comprised of large teams equipped with many weapons and vehicles of various sizes. It took awhile to make sense of it all.

Oh. I was mostly talking about stuff I watched. Toys? That was Lego, ninja turtles, ghost busters. A lot of toys I wanted I couldn't get because they were either too girly or they were made by a guy who jacked off in a theatre. I vastly preferred drawing, things like house, and video games over traditional toys. And if it was a toy usually it would be a doll (Care Bears, Disney stuff). I didn't really like action figures. Aside from Ninja Turtles.

I never owned a GI Joe. The only ones I played with were stuff left over at daycare.

The first season was the only thing worth watching in regards to the cartoon. I stopped watching the cartoon after a year but stuck with the toys. My love for TMNT came from the movie, not the cartoon.

OH right. I was big on Power Rangers. I think those are main exception to action figures I have aside from tmnt because you could build a big ass robot. I stopped playing with toys for good after Power Rangers.

I don't know Fantastic Max, but I have nothing bad to say about Ducktales. That was, along with most of the Disney Afternoon shows it spawned, a great show.

I was the only kid in the neighborhood who had the April action figure. All the other kids were mad jealous of me.

Never owned a Shredder or a foot soldier though. I had to pretend my sister's Barbies were foot soldiers. :'(
