Cowboys are fucking dumb as hell. How do you not give it to Murray with the game he's had with 3 minutes left in the game and the lead? 7.5 yrds per carry on 17 carries, lol let's have Romo scramble around and make bad passes instead.  :mindblown

Cowboys D is so utterly worthless. This should have been an easy win, Romo shouldn't have had to go on some last-minute, desperation drive in the first place.

Go away forever, Jerry Jones. GO AWAY.

just fucking tank a season already Jerry.  Your constant 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 seasons aren't giving you shit.  You have an awful coach and a choker of a QB.  Clean house, resign, and let the Cowboys fucking do something with themselves

this is all coming from a steelers fan who hates the cowboys more than any team in the league other than the patriots

Good start for the Lions. Didn't like that roughing the passer call, even though it set up the TD. Even sneezing on a fucking QB gets a flag, yet everybody else can get slammed in the face without the refs noticing.

I was hoping for the Lions over the Bears or Pack for the NFC North in the playoffs. I feel like the Niners would blow out Chicago or Green Bay, but Detroit would at least be interesting due to history.

You know what, I'm fine with that. I don't see how Jim Schwartz can come back if we miss the playoffs, which seems almost certain at this point.

But the depressing thing is that no matter what, Stafford is getting $90mil. That's elite QB money, and he might not be a top 12 QB in the league. Two INTs off ridiculous side arm passes, and I guarantee you not a single coach said a thing to him on the bench. His mechanics never improve. Brett Favre got away with that shit because he was, well, Brett Favre. Unlike Favre, Stafford can't hit anyone downfield in stride. If you watched the game you probably noticed the majority of Stafford's yards were off screen plays and slants. Short throws that lead to big yardage after the catch. That sums up the majority of his yards all season, and all of his career.

Megatron had a horrible game. I can't even fault him for the botched 2 point conversion, that was a poorly thrown fade. That's a throw you HAVE to be able to make, yet he can't consistently. He's inaccurate, and getting worse.

I don't know where this team goes from here. Mathmatically we can still win out to get the division title/playoffs spot, but who can expect that after these last 6 weeks of turnovers?

RODGERS AND CUTLER were dead for 5+ weeks and we couldn't capitalize.

Quote from: Justin Tucker
"I was getting hit up, actually, quite a bit on the Twittershpere leading up to the game for a couple days, people in their fantasy playoff matchups. And, you know, those are very important. So I'm glad to have come through, of course, for my team here — for my reality-team. But also my fantasy owners, a big thank you for picking me up. It means a lot to me."

Down 13-3 to a bad Giants team at halftime. In Detroit. Lots of Lions injuries in the secondary today. Our season is over if Stafford and Johnson don't take over in the second half.

Why are you so certain?

He's been here for five years and made the playoffs once. Nobody keeps their job with that type of record. Also, management wanted to fire him last year but decided not to, due to not wanting to buyout his contract. This year was always playoffs-or-bust for Schwartz. Well, he failed.

Despite Chicago and GB not having their QBs for nearly half the season, we couldn't make the playoffs. Despite starting out 6-3.

Another thing: we better hire a coach with some offense experience. Stafford is owed 91mil, and has regressed all season. His footwork is horrible, his mechanics are terrible. If he's not fixed soon, we're going to be stuck with a very expensive bad QB. I laugh at Romo all the time, but he fixed his passing mechanics early in his career to good effect. Phillip River's mechanics were fixed this year. Stafford still has time, but he needs to be fixed ASAP. He constantly overthrows receivers, throws a Favre-esque side arm, and constantly throws off his back foot. And he's been doing that for years, with no coaches addressing it.

Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, and even Cam Newton constantly look better than him. He has the worst 4th quarter QBR in the league, even worse than Geno Smith. Dude is trash.

Can't wait for next week's NFC Least showdown. The Cowboys' last minute, 1-point, come from behind win against the Deadskins proves they're ready for primetime. Meanwhile Philly beat the Bears 54-11, they're probably gonna be too tired from scoring all those touchdowns to play next week. Shouldn't have used up all their touchdown juice in a meaningless game.
