Peyton Manning isn't gonna be making the same mistakes Kaep did though, you know that right? Granted he can't change the game by running the ball either, but still. Y'all WILL have to work for this.

Gundam is a top 25 Bore poster, but even so I'd kind of rather see Denver win just so bandwagoners like PD can't gloat too much.

Ignore PD. I'll still mock him.

Go Hawks.

I'm well aware of that. I'm a rational fan, but don't like my team being overlooked.

I'd say y'all are favored. Just slightly though... it really depends on how well your offense will be able to perform.

Denver has a good rush defense. Their secondary is meh, and I certainly thought Brady was going to torch Bailey a couple times today but he missed multiple throws.

Manning hasn't really faced a great defense all year. Seattle's defense plus the weather could be a problem. Hell, Triumph might be right: Seattle could literally knock Manning out the game. Still, Wilson's play will be a major factor; huge stage, in fact the biggest stage he's ever been on. We'll see.

I think Wilson will be fine; he's a pretty cool customer for the most part. His biggest problem is that his weapons are dogshit, and I don't care what anyone says, Percy Harvin isn't going to be a factor. All the Broncos have to do is bump him within the five yards and he'll break on the first play.

As long as Lynch can keep running the ball and getting yards after initial contact, I think Seattle should be favored. If Seattle can put up 20+ points, that will be enough to beat Manning with their defense. If they can't, they won't. Hopefully somehow Peyton Manning suffers a career ending injury on a touchdown pass that emasculates Richard Sherman somehow... not sure exactly how that works but I can dream.

Do you really even have a reason for truly hating Peyton?  Like, TRULY hate and loathe him?  I'm seriously curious.  Was there something personal that happened that you aren't mentioning?  Or are you just the worst kind of victim (perpetrator?) of team bias?

You hate the man despite being statistically the best player over the last 10 odd years?  You hate him because he has a funny looking head and does shitty commercials, something a lot of players (Aaron Rodgers, etc) do?

We don't actually hate the Falcons, you know.  Did you notice that most of us here were really bummed that Matt Ryan couldn't get it done in the playoffs? Most of us were also excited to see what the Falcons offense would look like this season with Jones and White, and we were really bummed that Julio Jones got injured.

I really cannot fathom your hatred for the man despite being the best player in the league, and doing so much since those early playoff choke-jobs to erase people's apprehension towards him.  It's just purely illogical to hate him other than severe team bias.

Pot meet kettle.

Peyton Manning is a whiner who blames other people first when shit goes wrong. He's always done in it... in the SEC, at Indy, and he'll do it again if/when it happens in Denver. He'll toss the defense, his receivers, his O-line, and his coaches under the bus before blaming himself. He's not always wrong in what he says (he's really smart about football) but he's kind of a douche. Plus, his head looks like an aborted fetus.

Mostly old SEC hate, but dude *IS* a whiner. Also, I'm a Patriots fan purely for trolling/bandwagon purposes.

People are STILL calling in to Detroit sports radio complaining about Sherman

To be fair, some are fine with what he said. I honestly think the tone is what caught people off guard. If he wasn't screaming at the top of his lungs maybe folks wouldn't be so upset. Still at the end of the day, you can talk all the smack you want when you back it up.

And it's worth mentioning the guy has never been in trouble, never had a DUI, never been busted for drugs. Oh and he graduated from Stanford. He's not a "thug" and anyone who calls him one if exposing their racial prejudices.

Mike Greenberg [I think] was saying the other day that what Sherman did was "classless."

DUDE YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT A GAME WHERE HUGE MEN CRASH INTO EACH OTHER OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR THREE HOURS IF YOU WANT "CLASS" GO WATCH SOME FRIGGEN' GOLF OR SOMETHING

The only people who have any grounds for being upset are 49ers fans. Personally, I thought it was absolutely hilarious, a perfect cap for a great game.

I love Richard Sherman. He always backs it up with plays on the field.

It's funny, his Facebook feed is nothing but praise for his teammates, plugs for his t-shirt website and the charity work that his family is involved in.

Didn't watch but heard some mixed opinions on twitter.

How come the NFL doesn't have a skill challenge, like the NBA All Star Game? I'd definitely watch a racing contest to determine who is the fastest player, or a passing accuracy challenge (throwing footballs through tires or something, set up similar to the NBA three point challenge), a kicking challenge, etc.
