Worst Arena run ever 1-3 with a priest.

Didnt help I alt tabbed when lookinh for an opponent and when I alt tabbed back I was in round 3.

Never pickinh priest again.

This game is so addicting dammit. Wish I would earn carda faster, kind of sucks doing ranked (r16 now) and running into dudes with rag an ysera in one deck :/

Curse of Naxxramas is set in the necropolis of Naxxramas, which will be familiar to World of Warcraft players. Here Kel'Thuzad is the ultimate bad guy in a player versus environment adventure through five unique wings of the dungeon.

The expansion adds 30 new cards to the game, which you get for defeating the adventure's bosses, which include Maexxna, Loatheb and Patchwerk. Each boss has unique cards and hero powers. For example, the Plague Quarter boss, Heigan the Unclean, has an Eruption spell, which does two points of damage to your left most minion, and Mindpocalypse, which causes both players to draw two cards and gain a mana crystal. The completion of each wing rewards you with a guaranteed new Legendary class card.

Meanwhile, Curse of Naxxramas has its own unique game board, and there are nine unique class challenges, which, according to Blizzard, put a "difficult twist" on existing encounters within the adventure. Best these challenges and you get new class-specific cards.

Blizzard will make Curse of Naxxramas available over a five week period, opening its doors wing by wing. The first wing, The Arachnid Quarter, is free for all players. The other wings must be bought with in-game gold or real money. As each wing is released, the cards available from each show up in your Arena picks, even if you haven't earned them for your personal collection, Blizzard said.

Curse of Naxxramas doesn't have a release date yet, but it will be launched simultaneously for PC, Mac and iPad.

sah good on ipad.

But I'm having some serious issues on Arena. I mean, I'm not a bad player in my opinion, it just seems like I get destroyed super fast. I pick a decent curve, have utility cards, but I get rocked. I think the highest I've gotten has been 3 wins, and even those were shutout matches where the other person just didn't really play anything. Am I bad at this, or is it really that much luck?

Also, I got a Ragnaros in a pack, and put it in pretty much every deck now. It makes me happy.

Yeah, sadly, I can feel a similar pull to MtG, but more compelling because the games are relatively quick.

Mgoose was complaining about it being babby's first CCG, but I believe it's just not needlessly complicated.

A mage deck with secrets and spell damage amplifiers. I could use the legend you listed above plus ten other more effective cards. The placeholders that I'm using now aren't worthless but the mana curve is too steep and the minions aren't aggressive enough.

I'm running the vanilla decks and finally won my first game today.

Finally. I need to unlock more basic cards in the decks, so I can play more competitive multi, so I can win enough coins... WAITAMINNIT, that's a dastardly cycle!

Patch is out and Unleash the Hounds got a slight nerf to 3 mana.

Best thing about this, next to hunters being nerfed a bit, is that you can now DE your UTH for FULL VALUE.

DE'd my two golden UTH for 800 dust

1300 dust now so getting close to making a new legendary.

You can disenchant any card you got through packs (not that you unlocked) into dust, this is a separate crafting currency.

Every card type has a set dust value (legendary card= 1600 dust, golden legendary = 3200).

With dust you can also craft any card you want at any time for its set value.

When you disenchant cards you only get half dust value.

But when a card gets changed you have an opportunity to disenchant for FULL value.

So what I did is disenchant two golden Unleash the Hound cards for full value of 400 dust each, now that it has been changed in this patch.

Golden cards are just nice fluff (they have a golden edge and are animated, but nothing game changing) and I already have the normal UTH cards so no loss for me there for my decks.

I was planning to disenchant all my golden cards. The golden border is kinda ugly and the animations are distracting. I only have a single legend so far and I could sure use the extra arcane dust.

I DE a golden leg I got and crafted one I could use better, also DE'd a golden Sea Giant that I never used.

I think for most players the golden cards add nothing extra but there is always people that will want them

They look kind of cool imho with the animations.

I can't imagine playing this on anything smaller than the standard ~10" iPad. By now I recognize most cards from the art, but zooming in and reading the rule text would have been annoying on a smaller screen.

Holy I'm 3\1 in my second arena attempt with the paladin. This deck I got is all melee and taunts with a few health cards too.

This is an awesome game for tablets. I was playing on PC but I wanted it around while I travel. The phone version I saw didn't look too bad, it is different in its presentation if I'm not mistaken.

Got my first epic too in a pack.

What the hell. It was blatantly my turn, but it wouldn't let me cast. I am rather perturbed.

And no, you don't need to play any previous warcraft game to enjoy this. It really is babby's first card game, but so much fun.

I had never played a card game either and I think its fun. From what I gather its essentially the fast food version of a card game. Very accessible.

The only real negative is that without spending money, its a long grind to get the cards you want, to play how you want to play. But that's the cost of it being free.
