You just argued that Nintendo didn't reinvest their money in their core games, when this year, they are arguably, without a doubt, the best publisher and developer by a far margin.

And I also argued that the only reason Nintendo is coming back to core gamers is because their casual gamer cash cow got taken out back behind the woodshed and shot through the forehead, leaving them scrambling to try to pick up the slack somewhere else.

If you want to see exactly what I'm talking about there, see the Wii's lifespan minus the first two years. Cheap casual games were huge and Nintendo's output of core titles, if anything, tailed off quite a bit.

Also, there's a difference between not wanting launch systems (which are almost always faulty and never have good software until 1-2 years later) and saying fuck next gen. I haven't said fuck next gen at all and have been very positive towards the Xboner after playing it at Mupepe's house.

yup yup,beside why it would be a bad thing either? if capcom goes mobile it actualy means they are making game on a cheap platform that you probably already own and that's a good thing unless they are as i said skinner box like game in which case you can just tell them to fuck it up and go play something else (might i suggest desktop dungeons?) the drama is stupid because the people that cry about these thing are the same people that would rather have capcom doing a 2D HD megaman game and then burn and crash as they cry for their fallen hero while waxing post about how "they at least went out with a bang"

Given how much Ono has been crying they won't greenlight his Darkstalkers (nothing of value lost there, given how lukewarm Capcom's rehashing Darkstalkers was last gen with that GGPO release on consoles), and Street Fighter 5... I'd say SF5 is more than likely going to mobile than consoles. (Okay, I'm half joking there. Capcom can't be that completely stupid to piss off one of the last major fanbases that will eat their shit and take it.)

Nothing really outrageous with what i said.   It is like still a business.  It is like saying they should support a dying business model when they have the opportunity to move on.  Did i say "like", scratch that bit.  Sony, MS and Nintendo have to offer better business models ones that you know can support itself?  You cant expect business to rush over and make their games that sell mostly 1m(they recover 20 million) when it costs 40 million and up to make.  You know why third parties last gen made mostly multi-platform games?  Its is to try and recover as much as possible and make a profit.  This time they are gonna try and keep the 6 console thing going(PC, PS3, PS4, 360, Xbone, Wii U).  Ubisoft is the smartest at the moment in this regard but that I doubt would last for long.

I think the mobile decision is smart because they can make 200k dollar games and make millions.

It makes all kinds of sense for Capcom to make these mobile games over their console games. Of course Capcom should do whatever they want with their money, we are not anyone to judge. It is of course a business. But that's not a fun discussion because the reality is'isn't very cool. Even without delving into crying territory, it still sucks to see Capcom not developing Onimusha 5 or a console or even handheld Breath of Fire 6.

I'm not a business person though and why I understand the business decisions behind these things, I still think they suck. Maybe for selfish reasons, but that's the way it is. I'm at best begrudgingly having to invest in handhelds and I really am not interested in mobile games. So it sucks to me that that really is the future, because that's where things make sense business wise.

3 was the first questionable one,4 is when they ran it into the fucking ground... this LP of it is pretty funny in detailing how,the LP'er count how many spelling mistake and other assorted oddities there are in the game and ends up close to 300
