Also, they should expand the market for gaming too... not just North America, Western Europe, and Japan. I know they've tried this a bit in China with the iQue, but continue on this route, with country-specific advertising... perhaps have 'freemium' options for these countries.
Brazil has a storied history of gaming, but new consoles there are ridiculously expensive, due to gripping tariffs. For the price of a PS4 in Brazil, you can buy Wii/WiiU/PS3/PS4/360/One/Vita/3DS... you can buy a PC that would give Smooth Groove a boner... perhaps Nintendo can open manufacturing lanes up in Brazil to nullify these tariffs and further establish themselves in Latin America?
How about Eastern Europe? Cut deals with developers over there to publish their games, exclusive to your platforms? To my knowledge, there is nothing quite like Eastern European games anywhere on consoles (apart from the Witcher 2 360 port), and they're responsible for unique and interesting games that recalls the older days of PC gaming.
India too... I don't know much about gaming in India but there's certainly a lot of coders there

Spare a few rupees (no Zelda pun intended

) and open some studios on the cheap.
