This is crazy. And it's supposed to continue until at least 7pm. We're looking at nearly 12 inches of snow, and a record breaking low temp tomorrow. Speaking as someone unfamiliar with season, how common are these conditions?

We've gotten 13" twice since I've been at my house, in 4ish years. Both times, everywhere else in metro STL got 3-4". I never remember getting even 5-6" living at home, but now I can't remember the last time it snowed and we didn't get anywhere from 5-8" out here. Even last week we got almost 6" and my parents got a dusting. Despite the large number of churches and Republicans, God hates St Charles County more than Jefferson.

I like to walk outside when there is no vehicles out - gives the area a serene quiet.

I'm planning on putting on lotta layers and walk outside as soon as it stops snowing. Right now visibility has gone down to less than half a mile.

It's 15 degrees here in "hotlanta" right now. The low tomorrow is is showing as 9, but the windchill factor is supposed to make it feel like it's below 0.
