Its like everything else in America. You can find the finest here if you want, but there's a lot of mediocrity. We're all about range and options here, in a lot of ways.

But of course mayo takes a backseat here. We excel at real condiments, like barbecue sauce.

What does euro mayo taste like? And I'm not big on BBQ. I mean, it is good. But more often than not it comes out charred or dry and then people slather a bunch of BBQ sauce on it that usually tastes the same. I prefer baked food over BBQ any day. In Texas we fire up grills any time of the year and I'm rarely impressed. I'd rather eat ethnic food like Mexican at a taqueria or pho at a Vietnamese joint. The real great thing about America is the sheer variety of venues due to the amount of immigrants, not BBQ.

Dunno about Euro Mayo but what separates Japanese mayo from the American stuff is that it actually has some flavor to it instead of just being a creamy glop of fat.
