This is almost better than when I don't turn my clock back on Daylight Savings Day so I can constantly be amazed that it's really an hour earlier than I think it is.

Nice. Oh I went to Whole Foods and they have a shit ton of beer, way more options than the grocery store I go to or Sam's Club. I got some Bell's Porter, haven't tried it yet. I really like Founder's Porter beer.

It's brewed here in Michigan so once October arrives I'm sure I'll be able to find it.

Guiness is my favorite national beer so far, and Founder's (Porter) is my favorite local one. Overall the Porter is my favorite.

We're moving to a new building, so half days today and tomorrow for the move, off Monday.

I was thinking about taking days next week, but I got work shiz to get done like important people. Got a promotion, taking over a ton of stuff all due at end of month, training other people, and in charge of organizing all the crap to pack and unpack. Being an adult

Got together with my NZlander cousin for a day out on the turps. Craft Beer Live event in Osaka was... well, it was really only OK. The beers were crisp and tasty, but the lack of lingering bitterness or any other aftertaste was disappointingly Japanese. So we went to my new favorite bar and followed up with some major, lovely craft beers, fish and chips, salad... and then capped off the whole day with wagyu barbecue at his place over a bottle of Coppola vineyard's Sante, which was faboooooloso.

Grilled some filet, sausage, chicken, hot dogs, and chopped potatoes in foil wrap. The wife prepared beer bread, shrimp scampi, peas, corn on the cob, and a garlic butter sauce. The in-laws brought a fruit salad. It was an epic feast.

He also had never had cole slaw

personally I make my cole slaw with Dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, a bit of olive oil, and a bit of honey; I avoid mayo whenever possible. We had the regular mayo type there too though and he was like "I've never heard of this before."
