I think Dark Souls 1&2 are excellent games, but I've never felt compelled to tell other people how the games they play are for baby ass children and that the Souls series is made for people that want REAL games.

Mainly because that sounds pathetic as fuck. A lot of Souls fans sound like they rarely try or play a variety of games, that Demon Souls and Dark Souls saved their gaming passion or some shit.

Dark Souls games are way over-rated.
Don't get the hype. They're clunky and just making thing ambiguous doesn't make it good, it just makes it ambiguous.

I like the ambiguity in Souls games when it comes to narrative and the world overall. I don't like text/audio dumps or pickups in games, having to interpret your own surroundings and coming to your own conclusions is fun.
