To be fair, he actually did post leaked cloud tech demos and was correct on the xbone dashboard update leaks. So he was better than CBOAT at backing his shit up. He claimed he was working on the new Crackdown (Which heavily uses Cloud tech), game director shows up in the thread saying he's not working on the game. Detective GAF finds a post claiming he was while he denies ever saying it. Bish goes crazy and starts trying to imply he never verified him in the first place and permabans him.

Legitmacy wise, he was much more real than CBOAT, Dorkimer, Thuway or former ign editor Manabyte as it's hard to debunk tech demo stuff (Which was Bish "Verified". As little as that term means now). Its just hilarious Bish immediately kicked him to the curb after giving people like Thuway and CBOAT slaps to the wrist after coming up with "Insider" gossip which was completely false and pretending that he never allowed him to post leaks in the first place (And after "verifying" everything too). Sure he was another attention whore just like Dorkimer and a fantasist (Also like Dorkimer) but he was probably the closest GAF had to a "Real insider" (Oxymoron as it is) lately. And it's another "Insider" gone in the same week NPD found Aquamarine as well.

This episode is just a reminder to use quality control on your bish checking in the future, brehs

And a while ago, they found out who I was and confronted me / JPMorgan Chase directly. It was really nasty at that point.

I doubt its hard to stumble on that update leaks especially if you are a part of a preview program, etc (hell the most accurate "insider at the time Ntkrnl IIRC basically got shit from some document and people thought it was a deliberate stunt from MS).

But all the stuff he was saying, acting like he was apart of the team seeing all of this happen was revealed to be complete horseshit.

And honestly Bish's method of checking was spotty at best iirc so it was a matter of time it was exposed
