Transplant lists are not a blind lottery. There are steps involved to make sure that people in line to receive a second chance actually will benefit from it.
Yes, they (the doctor, hospital and state) take a significant amount of time to review with you, the patient, about how your life will change due to the constant (and I mean "until the day you die") need to comply with rigorous pharmacotherapies and patient follow up requirements. If, for a moment, you are a risk to be non-compliant with the necessary follow up care, you are booted out of the program or to the back of the line. Antisocial Jr. was obviously tagged as a non-compliant risk and the hospital, rightly, walked away from him.
Next, sedan chair, you ignorant fuckwit, you show exactly what a fraud you are, questioning someone else's decision making capabilities. A history of not taking your meds, either by "forgetting"or intentionally disregarding them, is exactly the kind of marker that would be inspected prior to being accepted for a transplant. This isn't like Thugalicious Lite here lost his asthma inhaler. Forgetting your immunosuppressant meds, your anti-coagulants, your platelet inhibitors, your antiinflammatories is a quick way to die. This doesn't get "lost in the shuffle", it's a key part of you for the rest of your life. Your implications that this nog wasn't given every chance to comlpy and failed every time is beyond self-serving. You're not qualified to even suggest he was treated unethically, you useless shitstain.
So yes, they do screen. And yes, this niglet was correctly rejected the first time. Now he's exactly where he belongs, only he victimized one extra person who wasn't in the news reports, by taking the heart meant for whomever was delayed in receiving help and who may have lived a decent life using what this distinguished black fellow wasted.
Fucking distinguished black fellows, man.
