I just bought the witcher. If this many people praise it I have to give it a shot.

It's pretty good, it's the best mainstream game to come yet this year, but that's not saying much when the only competition was A movie, a niche Japanese game propped up by deluded fans, and a multiplayer game shipping with two maps, but yeah, I'm having fun with The Witcher.

An absolute embarrassment of a thread but it's gaming side Neogaf, so no surprise. I see Sony stans using the exclusives don't really matter now excuse. Second year in a row that the PS4 will have a lame fall release schedule. And people who've spent their hard earned on a system that promised 'greatness' have to suck it up? 

MS must be kicking themselves, who knew Sony were this much on the ropes? E3 is going to be hilarious, what games from the depths and probably years away will Sony have to pull out the closet to sate the increasingly angry fanboys? Knowing that third party marketing deals is the best Sony could do.

I said it earlier in this thread. This is the year the monster WITH money kicks the monster who's broke right in the dick. Gears will move systems, Halo will move systems, Quantum break will be good, Scalebound should kick ass, and Crackdown.

Edit: Sorry I meant to say if they are smart they'll try to squeeze some of these in 2015.  Gears should be holiday, Halo is october, and if they're going for a good end of year they should find a way to squeeze on of the last 3 in there.

For whatever reason, there is some unspoken obligation for game reviewers to inflate the hell out of Nintendo game scores.  I suspect a lot of it is rooted in nostalgia since if you were to ask them what console they started playing on, most of the time it's going to be the NES.  With Nintendo games you're unsure about, it seems like you need to wait about six months after the game is released until honest opinions start getting put forth.

The game might be fun. It is a JRPG from the looks of it. And it is at least better than what most gamers do, which is buy games just to add another to their Steam list even though they will never play it.
