From our end, deleting posts is the lesser of evils available. I mean, that's how I've always felt when I've deleted posts (and I had nothing to do with this thread). It just feels like a quick and dirty way to try and salvage a thread without banning people. Win win, right? But this isn't the first time where I've seen criticism of it as though it's the absolute worst type of censorship. Like I said, I'm not here to fight about it. I'm just genuinely surprised that people are that bothered by it.

As long as you're on a PC, it's super easy to just quickly scroll through and delete posts. When logged in with a mod account, every post has a checkbox. At the bottom, there's a dropdown that has options for what to do with these checked posts. "Delete posts." Done.

And no, we can't just say automate "block benjipwns from posting in political threads," as a random, off-the-wall example that I picked for no particular reason whatsoever.

It's like you're enjoying it, and then all of a sudden the main character is in some ridiculous "sexy" outfit when you just want to watch some cheesy revenge cartoon where the main character fights with a giant pair of scissors. Considering the main character is in high school, Oscar's assessment is on the mark. I'd throw in virgins too, because no way has no anyone who made Kill La Kill ever had sex.

I'd love to live in a universe where that series doesn't exist.  Fucking awful.

I was in high school when that got localized for North America, so there were a ton of people addicted to that show.  We had auditions for a few musicals and a few drama showcases when I was in Grade 11 and I saw 5 groups auditioning using a scene from some episode of Inuyasha for a few drama showcases (with props and cosplay), and three people auditioning for our school's musical that year singing the Inuyasha OP song. 

The people who sang the Inuyasha OP song for that vocal audition got into the musical's chorus only because the evaluators thought they knew Japanese (they didn't know any, but confirmed that they did know Japanese by talking about OP songs from other anime series at the time).

Worst fans, worst show. I feel like I know everything about the show even though I've only seen like three episodes because people wouldn't shut the fuck up about it.
