I have to admit that even though I'm generally on their side, I get a perverse pleasure out of when a gay marriage advocate or transgender advocate rails against the slippery slope and considers it beyond the pale to bring up polygamy or something like furries wanting surgeries. And not in a "that will hurt our cause because that's even more unpopular" way, but a way where they start making justifications for why THAT'S DIFFERENT.

Well, it's less about them killing themselves (though that does happen), and more about transindividuals being like one of the most murdered minorities out there.
