Somebody should take another crack at a Superman game, building off what worked in Returns. Especially since we've had stuff like Batman, Saints Row IV, Infamous, etc. all kinda show that superhero games don't have to be totally dumb.Go to Apokolips and stuff, fight Doomsday to the death, rescue more kittens, etc.Returns was almost a launch game, it was on Renderware ffsAnd they did PS2/Xbox versions (which still have the sweet flying even if it's ugly):
Quote from: Vertigo on October 13, 2014, 05:40:30 AMSo the sad sight of Nintendo fanboys pretending to be extra excited about Bayonetta 2 continues. I wonder how many of them will actually buy the game, not just pay lip service and use it's great review scores in their forum battles.http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=911321I'd probably try Bayonetta if I had a X360/PS3 or 2 if I had Wii U.But I love how reviews suddenly matter because the scores are so high. The metacritic average is even in the damn thread title! I've been browsing GAF for at least 10 years and I've rarely seen that.So review scores don't matter if your beloved, hyped-to-oblivion game isn't getting the ratings you wanted it to have, but do when the ratings are higher than expected.

Man, there's no excuse for not picking Bayo 2 up if you have a Woo. 2 is apparently pretty solid, and 1 is an improved port over the 360 ver. Both are packed to the gills with content, like other Platinum games, and packaged/sold for the price of one. The value is insane.... Now, imagine picking this up for $20 during the holidays.
Gonna check out the Bayonetta's. I wanna play mario kart first tho.

Xbone might turn out alright. Other than Halo (which kind of sucks dick now) and maybe Quantum Break (which looks like an interactive movie) there ain't dick I'd touch.

Im picking up Halo TMCC and Sunset OverdriveDragon Age Inquisition too but I will wait on player impressions first
To me, it looks like it's trying too hard to sell me on that instead of just being fun.

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=134108039&postcount=10552QuoteThis I disagree with, completely. I started supporting #GamerGate because of the "Gamers are dead" articles. To me, Gamer is more than a label. It's a banner that people unite under, because of a love of videogames. It's the idea that differences in race, gender, social status, wealth, etc. faded into the background, because we were all just gamers. Seeing those articles saying that gamers are dead, and that "now you babies have to accept women into your boys club" was incredibly frustrating, because it feels like no one understands what Gamer actually meant. So I found like-minded people, who too thought Gamer was just an inclusive term we could unite under, and they fell under the tag #GamerGate. Any of the people I've talked to in the #gamergate tag have shared these views. Seeing people say things like the above just reignites that feeling of "what? No, you don't understand". It's frustrating, and I think that's how boogie feels too. Being misrepresented is such an incredibly frustrating feeling. Being told that you ARE a misogynist when you were only joining a cause to fight back against the specific people who told you that what you believed in was wrong was such a massive shock to the system. It still bugs me to hear it now, because that isn't why I, nor many people I know, joined #GamerGate. That's why many of those people have stuck with it for so long.To be fair though, things have gotten incredibly gross. I stuck around for a week before I decided I didn't care what a bunch of websites I never visited thought of me or my ideals, and I kind of felt dumb for my knee-jerk reaction. I know a lot of people on the #GamerGate side who are coming to that realization slowly, and a lot of people who actually believe in the ethics stuff, are getting sick and tired of having the "movement" co-opted by political parties.I've went back on twitter and tried to inform people essentially what Boogie's video was, that "if you don't agree with it, don't give it traffic", but people are struggling with that. I also feel that's why Boogie is so strongly defending #GamerGate, because he feels the same way I did/do. Gamer actually MEANS something to us, and when you attacked it, we took up arms under a banner (misguided as it may be) and took a stand against that BS. He is / was sticking up for the people who are idealistic, (even naive, I guess) because he had the same reaction we did, and he doesn't want to see anyone get hurt.People who are doing the harassment, and the ZQ stuff? Gross. Super super gross. I haven't actually witnessed anyone I know participating in harassment, but it's the internet and people can be whoever they want whenever they want, so I don't know for sure if they are / aren't active participants.*barfs*

Niccas acted surprised DMC2 was trash. I knew that shit even when I was 14, because there were previews for that shit like half a year after the first one released. I was like " How is this new one coming so fast? Something is amiss" and sure enough it was terrible. I was still pissed even though I expected it. I loved the first one.

ME3 (Image removed from quote.) Fuck that game, brehs. Shit felt so small in scope for a big finish. You can tell that shit was rushed, so it wasn't just the ending that was poor. Still that ending was cancer.

Quote from: Momo on October 13, 2014, 10:52:10 AMForza isnt even close to Gran Turismo you racing peasants Yes it is.It may not have the "24/7" Day/Night Cycles, but as far as the racing goes? It nails it. It's been nailing it for a while and has damage models that effect the car. Something GT5 didn't have. That said, iRacing/RFactor/etc. on PC shits on both GT and Forza from a great height if you're actually looking for the "sim" aspects of the "racing sim" genre.
I disagree, GT racing feels a lot better and I can predict how my car behaves a lot better than Forza. I dont want to get too into it, but if we're talking gold standard then imo it's Geoff Crammond GP4, what a game

In GT the sim can basically be dumbed down to "buy racing softs for better grip. Buy all the engine upgrades you can and then tweak it." I can't recall an instance in Forza where buying two or three upgrades would suddenly make a car god-like. But Granted, I haven't dived into either series nitty-gritty tuning options but "out of the box," driving in Forza felt better on controllers and racing wheels than GT's. You could "struggle" with the AI but with some nice driving beat them with a stock car. I can't remember doing that in GT outside of the first two or maybe three.

I can predict the car better because I tweak the shit out of my cars from ride height, camber, suspension and all that shit no one touches. When I tweak things in there then go on track it's rare that the car doesnt perform as I set it up, it will lean right, over/understeer right etc. It doesnt do weird no body roll floaty shit like this.
