Actually, that was probably the best part of the game. The panic over something you don't know that is causing people to turn into mindless killers so it's rats on a sinking ship time. Rest of the game should've had that feeling, TBH. Instead it became a boring plod of a stealth game without any of the fun of fuckery on the enemies in a Stealth game because you can only:

-Distract

or

-Melee/Shoot/notify

the infected enemies. The human enemies were at least more fun because you had those two options without the entire army of humans coming UNLESS you fired an unsilent gun.
