To clarify my initial salvo, from my admittedly limited knowledge of the man himself, he likes to present himself as both a man apart and a serious auto enthusiast. Neither of these things really jive with 911 ownership unless it's a turbo or a GT3 (which it could be, I don't know my 991s very well), hence my incredulity.

When you bought your wife a Cayman (iirc), I didn't talk shit. Fine marque, fine cars (cash grab models aside), they just don't affect certain qualities of their drivers.
