I mean physically angry like you want to punch somebody. The sound of it is the most annoying thing in the world. The subject matter of what people are whispering about does not bother me, it could be gossip or something more innocent like asking for a writing utensil. There's something about it which completely derails any train of thought and is genuinely painful.

The U6 unemployment rate will always be higher than the official U3 unemployment rate. By definition it has to be, unless we have zero people who would like a job, but haven't gone looking in the last month, and zero people getting part-time hours. Even in the 90s, at the height of an economic boom, we had a Seinfeld episode where George Costanza claims to have interviewed at a fictitious company (Vandalay Industries) so that he could stay in the "labor force" and continue to collect unemployment benefits. There have always been marginally-attached workers.

I don't see a problem with pointing out that what we think of as real "unemployed" people are more than 5.5% of the population. I just ask why a person is doing it. If you're pointing it out to show that there's still room for improvement in the labor market, then that's great. If you're doing it to push some conspiracy narrative about how the government is trying to bamboozle all of us by fudging the numbers, then GTFO.

I feel the pain in that thread.  I lived in the same apartment complex for four years, but in three different apartments.  When we moved into the second place, it took the U-Verse tech a fucking week to come out.  My dad had volunteered to stay there and wait for the guy and had to this every day, with nobody ever showing up.  Then after two days, we had no Internet and had to wait another week, going through the same bullshit.  The problem was outside the place at a junction box or something. 

Have my fingers crossed shit will go smoothly at our condo.  Once again, My father is going to be there so I don't have to take time off to wait for the service guy to show up.  Only this time, there's not going to be any furniture in the place.  Not even a fucking chair to sit down on.  Gonna have to get something in there.

A couple of things users should note:
 
1. People involved with Sony's MVP program need to contact a moderator and be registered as such.  If you want to keep it private, you can forgo a tag, but not registering with the moderation team.  This is standard policy for people working for or with a company marketing team.

2. It's not GAF's place to shut down people breaking their NDAs, and if you, as a member of a program attempt to do so, or complain about the violation, we'll treat that as thread whining, which is a bannable offense.
