He was a staff member of Gamefan magazine, which ran in the mid 90s. Assuming he was 18 when he started, that puts him in his late 30s at least. If shidoshi is still around here, maybe he can chime in.

I'm also not exaggerating either when I say they probably think gaming peaked around then. There is still a faithful following with the import Saturn scene and the Dave Halverson set fits right in that niche.

Even in college, dating someone who you're grading is an obvious conflict of interest (that's why TA's can't date students in their classes). In high school, you also have the fact that you're mostly there to learn how to socialize like an adult rather than study so it takes a really fucked up person to start banging teens half their age regardless of if you're their teacher.

Why do you say that? I can think of stereotypical reasons why it would be easy for them to find a guy who wants to settle down with them (it's a mostly female workplace/their paycheck won't intimidate the dude).

i rented one with Fighters Megamix from blockbuster and that was that. also rented a 3DO with Way Of The Warrior.
