DF called Mario 3D world "Perfect" 60FPS but that game hella chunks up in the later stages. Ditto Splatoon (Nibel don't hurt me, no more) as while the early levels are fairly tame and easily run smooth. Once you get above L10 and the game throws the real crazy weapons and specials at you and crap flies everywhere, the game's framerate decides "Fuck dis shit, I'm on vacation" even with every player having a great connection. Camp the top spot on the skatepark level with a weapon that produces a lot of crap (Machine gun plus suction bomb rush special usually does it) to activate N64 framerate mode. Not to shit on Splatoon because I'm enjoying it a lot better than I did the beta but that game has surprising performance issues, especially with the new levels Nintendo added.
The ultimate argument for PC gaming would be to make this console stanley nonsense go away (Though then they would project their insecurities onto AMD Vs Nvidia anyway) and relying on console gaming in pursuit of that perfect locked 60FPS is not going to happen so they should just chill and enjoy what they have.
