The story in the first Persona is so long and visual novelly that it kinda put me to sleep. I say that as a fan of visual novels but it just wasn't that engaging. Double so when the story beats are the same for everyone just with minor line changes. Once you've seen one, you've seen them all, so it becomes a matter of unlocking the "story locks" via Labrys, P4Maincharacter, and I think Chie then doing everyone else for the "true ending."

Ultimax's episodes seem to fix that problem, but we'll see. I have to get back to it.

Though Ultimax's claim to singleplayer fame is the "Golden" Aybss clone mode. I feel like that's what Aybss for Blazblue should be (unless that's been changed, Aybss in Continuum Shift was basically just survival in Guilty Gear: XX just under a different UI hood).
Persona seems like it's trying to mix Guilty Gear and Blazblue together with the characters having different systems but playing nearly the same with Guilty's speed. I prefer it over Blazblue, but I think I prefer Guilty over both. I haven't gotten Xrd since I'm waiting for Arc to smarten up and do a PC port for "dat 4K." But...

Arc and PC
