Attitude Era was

in hindsight
Horrible "humor"
Very, very little actual wrestling
Ruined wrestling for a generation to the point where people want it to come back but it can't ever come back because chair shots to the head, jumping off ladders 12 feet in the air doing flips, chris benoit landing on his head from the top rope and we know where that went

, mick foley asking to be dropped on a den of tacks...twice
Stupid shock value storylines ("I cut off pee pee";etc)
The quality of the wrestling was rarely good
How many times they gonna repeat Austin vs McMahon or Kane vs Undertaker?

When I got WWE Network and went back, it was really eye opening how exalted that era of wrestling was, despite being pretty doo doo, but it was the times, and everyone didn't give a shit when it was going on because it was just how it was.
In hindsight though?
