I think it's dumb that female characters routinely look ill-proportioned and lacking in being buff, the latter happens in all sorts of shit though not just video games.
Also look how you're framing it a bit less attractive =/= exaggeration of features. But again video games aren't the only thing to consistently do this. Comic books too.
What you'll consistently have is some asshole going the "so you want to get rid of these bodies as if they don't exist?" Some of them do not in fact exist and the rest that are a bit more realistic, well there could be some variety just as you'll see with male characters. It's like every woman in a video game (and other media does this) has to be an "extremely" attractive thin, big tittied female between the ages of 16 and 40.
Where's the diversity?
At this point I care much less for the argument of what I want, but what is particularly a juvenile form of narrative.
