Trigger words? All I'm reading is a bunch of whiny ass bitches complaining like they are "owed" something.
Except nobody was doing that. People were specifically complaining about old people who act as if it's as easy today as it was one, two or three generations ago.
It was no easier for me to attend school than it is for you. In fact it was tougher. If it wasn't for football I couldn't have afforded nor could I have gained acceptance into U of M. Stop pretending like it's so much harder today than it was 10-20 years ago. It isn't. In fact racism was much more visible and discrimination was more more prevalent.
I don't think anyone is going to say blacks didn't have it hard 10-20 years ago. But your tuition
then is much lower than it is
now. That's what people are complaining about and what people mean by "damn old people don't get it."
If I have to mortgage 10 houses to get a college education,
what is the point? Yeah, you got lucky going into college getting a full ride with your athleticism that's great. But that doesn't change that kids younger than you are fucked.
I'm sure you're paying for your sons tuition, which is great but not everyone gets that.
