I got stood up last night
I was talking with this girl and we were planning our second date for last night at 8:30 at a higher-end burger joint.  I texted her saying "great!  Let's meet up there at 8:30, sound good?"  And she responded with "see you there!

"
So I get there early at like 8:20 and grab an open table.  I texted her at 8:25 "here!  Got a table near the front."
I didn't get a response from her for 40 minutes.
I texted her several times and tried calling her, with no response.  I asked if she was okay, where she was, etc.  Finally at 9:05 I texted her "Alright, nevermind, maybe tonight wasn't great for you or something."  I promptly walked out of the restaurant and went to a nice bar a mile or so away for a bourbon.  I FINALLY get a response back from her at 9:10.
"Wait, you didn't leave did you?"
I responded:
"I did.  We agreed to meet at 8:30.  Didn't you get my texts and calls?  I was there for 40 minutes without hearing from you."
She responds:
"Unbelievable.  My GPS has taken me to the wrong place like four times and I don't get service"
I rolled my eyes to this because any moron can operate a GPS.  She continues:
"The right thing to do would have been to pick me up.  I would NEVER stand someone up.  I don't think this is going to work."
I respond:
"I mean, we agreed to meeting there at 8:30.  If it needed to be any different, I would've appreciated a call or some sort of indication.  I'm sorry for the misunderstanding."
She goes:
"You just TOLD me to meet you there.  We didn't agree on anything."
Haven't responded to her since.  That raises the question though...did I wait long enough?  Did I do the right thing?  It certainly FELT like being stood up, and I'm sorry but if you're having problems with your car or phone, that's not really my fault.  I don't know.
I think I dodged a bullet with this girl regardless, though.
