So I recently moved. Have to take a different train line to work. Not exactly a big deal when Atlanta has like four train lines total and only two of them go in the direction I need to. Coming back is the problem-- I need to take the bus.
I get to the station follow the signs. Walk straight down the platform, go down some stairs, exit, and there's the bus depot. No problem.
Except there's no signs with the bus number I need to take. The train system here, MARTA, has an app. You can view transit times and track bus locations. It says the bus is already there.
THERE ARE NO BUSES ANYWHERE.

I walk back towards the station entrance and see a sign saying that the bus I need to take and one other are on the other side of the station, for whatever reason. Literally just those two. Go back in and get on the bus.
Then it hits me that I have no idea where my stop is. I know the name...I can find it on a map...but when actually going there, I dunno.

So I use the app and track the bus in real-time. This doesn't work because it's not using GPS, so before I know it, I've gone down way too far. Get off at some college and have a nice 45 minute walk home ahead of me. Fortunately this was only 10 minutes' drive from my place and my wife was home, so I got a ride back.
Today I'm just going to tell the driver I'm an idiot and need help finding my stop.

In hindsight, I should have just stayed on the bus, told the driver I missed the stop, and he would have looped around back to it.

A new train line means no more crazy lady gang problems, but that's more of a post for the triumph thread.
