This thread of all threads should never fucking fall onto the second page.

You know what? I'm trying fucking everything.

Fuck it, I'm a creative.

I've been making short films since 2014.

I ordered a bunch of canvasses and acrylic paint this week.

I'm gonna take piano lessons.

I'm gonna do a stand-up comedian class in the next few months.

Life's too fucking short to be a fucking robot.

Will I be good at any of this shit? I don't know. No one does.

But I might find my voice.

And more importantly, an audience.

And if I can convert that into a lifestyle, man, everything - the fucking stress and condemnation and sneers... it'll all have been worth it.

It is worth it.

I fucking believe.

PEACE!

Probably breaking NDA, but curious: MS process slower in general and/or requires more tests?

Nah we had more bugs with the XB1 version of the game and had to spend extra time on bug fixes.

Also! My new chair got here. It's the first step of my "living room revitalization project." Decided to actually invest in my apartment for the first time in five years, and make it my own instead of relying on hand-me-downs from past roomies.

The theme is "red, white, and wood." Further additions will include:

And yep, this is all super cheap stuff. The chair looks and feels great though. Gotta start somewhere.

I spent yesterday at the Women's March in NYC. Was a great experience honestly. Never been a part of something so widespread before. I truly hope that this doesn't fizzle out. Needs to be a monthly or bimonthly thing.

Created two paintings tonight. Really happy with how they came out, although I think I should have stopped a bit earlier with the first. I'm pleased with the second overall though.

I'm not a very deep or intelligent person overall, but these two paintings have meaning for me and I'm proud about putting them on my walls eventually. :)

Super glad it's working for you.

Unfortunately, I just tried it on my Japanese iPhone, and it still wants me to register a US cell phone for the connectivity. Oddly, Hangouts lets me dial out from it, Google Voice number to landline/cell through telephony, with no problems.

Permanently gave up all non-psychedelic (except for MDMA/MDA 1 or 2 times a year) hard drugs. Spending $1,500+ a week on cocaine gets old, dudes.

Ibogaine has saved my life. Again.

About twelve hours of peace. Followed by eight days of sweating and shaking. All it takes is the one time use. I did nearly die of dehydration in my sleep the first night though. Works best for opiates, but it'll work on most any chemical that GRIPS you.

You ever taken Ibogaine?

No, but i'm still not sure why you think ibogaine would mitigate a specific addiction

You feel no withdrawal of any sort for about 12 hours. If that ain't mitigation of an addiction, I dunno what is. It's like a day-long moment of clarity.

It only really works if you wanna quit.

So you didn't 'really' wanna quit the first time you did ibogaine?

The ibogaine for just one dose is $150. All it takes. The first time around, I wasn't on coke, I didn't much like it at the time.

It's pretty nice to be able to buy a house in one year from quitting. I never ended up in the poor house or stole cause that still only was about half my pay. And living expenses are cheap here, I was more worried about having a heart attack than going broke.

My plan to stay off that hard shit is pretty simple, don't buy the shit and slap anybody hard in the face who tries to give it to me.

Over 4 grams a day even if you aren't buying in bulk. Which you probably are. So at least double that. $78,000 a year on coke. What do you do?

That's for me to know and you to not know.

Went on an interview yesterday and they made me an offer today!

Only problem is it's $8000 less, and the healthcare benefits / vacation days are a lot worse than my current job (that I will be losing at the end of March).

Any tips for salary negotiation?

An offer is an offer, both sides have to come to an agreement before it's a deal. Tell them exactly what you said here, and ask them why they think you should take a reduction in pay and benefits.

Did they ask for your salary expectations?  If not then just say that you would love to join them if they match your current salary/benefits.

If they didn't ask you then do what Chrono says.

I got my first job interview today since I moved to the stick :rock Fingers crossed! Its sales again, and the commute would be shit (1.5 hour each way) until I get a license and a car, but it would be a good income.

Not my triumph but I'm proud as fuck of my wife.  She took her NCLEX test on Tuesday, got her official results this morning and is a registered nurse.  About 10 minutes ago she got a call from a hospital and accepted a job offer and she starts on the 27th.
