I just bought a Columbia Antimony IV for winter. It replaced a Nautica down coat that was my warmest coat ever. If it didn't have a big stain on it I'd still be wearing it.

The only reason I bought it was because it was $30 at an outlet. I've never seen a heavy down coat for that cheap. It had a gawdy huge Nautica logo around the collar too. I overlooked that shit because it was warm as hell.

If I need a warm jacket, I'll get UniQlo's cheap-ass down jacket. Unfortunately, with my northern yuropeen blood, I'm pretty much overheating indoors all winter long, and my moments of outdoor chill-out are welcome bliss to my polar bear ass.

This year is the first year I've been wearing UniQlo and good lord is it ever warm for how light it is.

the heat tech undergarments are a damn life saver. ultra thin, ultra light, super warm.

dont really see much north face these days, back in aught 6 shit was eurrywhere with requisite Uggs, not just cacs those, this was an cac / asian phenom in the north east
