I think that swimsuit for Honoka included in that set isn't available normally on the consoles yet. It's part of a Wal-Mart first-run with like five costumes that has sold for as much as $90 on eBay. It's even more ridiculous considering that you can just get the game from Wal-Mart, with the code, for $40.

LOL @ SK costume pricing on Steam. A dollar more than the "next-gen" version pricing with NO destruction.

In any case: Online "beta" patch is up, includes the achievements. The throwdown function seems kinda buggy. Reach the end of arcade and wait like 2-5 minutes for the leaderboards to finish uploading. I thought the game crashed outside of that "searching for opponent" at the bottom right.

Ranked mode only, though. $:-\$

Balance patch 1.04 is up, plus a new stage and more outfits, as always. This is just PS4/Xbone. PC gets no love along with PS3/360, which have had features removed in this update.

Online PC ~~beta~~ patch is out now officially.

Basically does what I did in that last sentence. Still impossible to find matches because the bugs from the "beta" are still there. Stellar job, Tecmo.

I forgot that I own the vanilla version of the game for 360.

Upgrading to Last Round is a clusterfuck. You have to own DOA5 Ultimate and then purchase a digital upgrade to Last Round. People gave Capcom shit for how SF4 was handled with updates and its different versions, but at least that shit was simple as can be.

EDIT: Never mind, they pulled DOA5 Ultimate and Last Round from the 360 marketplace.

I'll probably get a physical copy of Ultimate Edition and call it a day. Apparently you can just update Ultimate to Last Round on both PS3 and 360, I originally thought you had to buy both due to them both being on the marketplace at some point.

Are you talking about for 360? Keep in mind that not all of the features and DLC (there's free stuff too) are even in the PS3/360/PC versions.

Pretty sure all the characters are available. You don't get new stages, some DLC, and extra visuals effects (on PC). They also removed some replay and other online-related features for no reason whatsoever.

There's also some extra customization stuff for outfits/hair. It's all cosmetic, sure, but it's kind of like they just don't give a shit about the game beyond the two current-gen platforms. I can understand the limitations for the last-gen systems (in regards to hitting the "limit" for DLC), but not for PC.

Naotora Ii from Samurai Warriors is being added as a playable character next month. Looks like Samurai Warriors costumes are coming too. I like that they are still supporting this game.
