So the job I have now, have been here for 6 months, is... not what they sold it as in the interview. And I am a diligent interviewee, I ask a ton of questions about the company and what future projects I'd be involved in.
They told me I'd head the Level 1 and 2 guys as Senior Sys admin. Great.
Start work... they're in the process of hiring guys... so I'm level 1 2 and 3...\
Ok, fine, they say a few months before they hire my desktop support guys. No problem, I'll fix printers and migrate you physical servers to ESXi. No issue.
Its been 6 months.
So, I've been offered a position at a pretty huge music firm here in Montreal (not going to say whom here) but they need me to start on the 9th.
15 days away starting tomorrow.
I got an email offer from the new company saying that it was conditional on the signing of a contract, which I have yet to receive (this was yesterday).
Knowing how slow HR is, I'm not expecting this contract till the middle of next week.
I'm not giving my notice till that contact is signed, but that won't let me give the full 15 days (calendar, business wasn't specified in my contract).
What I do?
