Bought my kid a PS4 to take to college. We hooked it up and tried some games. I don't know how anybody over 5'7 can play on these damn things.

Couple that with the clearly shoddy quality and I rate it as

Battery life is the fucking worst, too. My launch controller gets about two hours before it drops to one bar now, and I don't even play that much.

I pretty much just play it connected all the time. And I had to put a piece of electrical tape over the fucking blue light that you can't turn off. Even on the lowest setting it was very bright in a dark room.

Easily the best controller to date. I charge mine every other play session to deal with the poor battery life.

XBox has been the best controller on the market since the 360.

I actually like the controller fine (XB1 controller is way more solid, though), just wish they hadn't cheaped out on the battery as much as they did. Touchpad, speaker, flashing lights, motion controls, rumble, headphone audio output? Yeah, let's put a fucking watch battery in there to power all that.

I still prefer the XBone's controller, but the PS4 controller is such a HUGE improvement over the PS3 controller. Like, fuck that horrible piece of shit.

I can't speak for nintendo as only feggits and children ever played anything past the gamecube and don't EVEN get me started on that controller...fuck

yeah it's the first time they designed a controller for analog sticks. they slapped sticks and those shitass concave triggers to a practically unaltered 1994 controller.

Eh it's okay, and I'm a big dude. I like the triggers but the controller could stand to be a bit larger overall.

The biggest issue is the garbage tier battery life on it.

Wii U Pro controller is the best of them all this gen. The only issue that thing has is the console it's attached to.

xbox one bumpers can be a pain with some games (I tried dmc4 on pc and boy, it required real adjusting)

Pro controller has no headphone jack which is fucking distinguished mentally-challenged.

I prefer the One's left analog placement. I appreciate the bigger handles on the PS4 controller but they still have no rise in the plastic around where the base of your thumb should be resting, so your thumb kind of arches over it with a space and I find that uncomfortable. On XBox controllers I can fully grip it.
