...I'm not sure wtf the Braves are thinking with this trade. We're giving up a serviceable middle of the rotation, potential #2 starter in Alex Wood, a VERY valuable reliever in Jim Johnson, a serviceable lefty reliever in Avilan, and one of our top prospects in Jose Peraza.
In return we're getting Hector Olivera, who apparently the Braves REALLY loved this spring and has never faced major league pitching and might be 32 or 33 instead of 30, a middling pitching prospect, and a draft pick. I fully agree that we need a can't miss offensive prospect... just not this one, who has a busted elbow and is OLD. First genuinely stupid thing Hart has done here so far imo.
