The thing is I don't actually care about the graphics at all. It could look shit and if it was a great playing game that's all that matters. Frame rate matters more to me than graphics anyway. It's just that EA and DICE are known for being deceptive and I think that's where the nerd backlash is coming from in certain quarters.
Especially after stuff like Watchdogs.
Most of the time that's true and I think last call of duty did it right like most multiplatform games where on XBO, it's basically the same game with a fluid 30/60 FPS and 30% less pixels than the PS4 version but then you look at the last couple Battlefield games and they look like a last gen game really. That bothers everyone just a little even if the game plays great.
But Star Wars games are a different thing than your typical online shooters. From Rogue Squadron to the Force Unleashed series, they've always had some pretty basic/janky game play but yet some of the prettiest graphical setpieces of the console generation.
So Dice, Xbox One, and Star Wars? I don't think I'm going to get what I wanted.
