Tactics Advance 2 was alright from the little I played of it. I should go back to it... :yeshrug

I enjoyed all the subsequent Tactics games more than the series progenitor. Not even Balthier can save that Xenogears for babbies game; gimme no sword rulings from judges over god is fake any day.

the first tactics advance was so shit I'll forever write off the sequels. they took matsunos masterpiece and fucked up every damn worthwhile aspect of the gameplay

12 would be better if they let you use all the ai functions from the start instead of like 30 hours in

still a good game for all the hunts tho

well damn I guess that matsuno magic goes a long way

whole game was "run behind the enemy before you hit them." every other strategy sucked bc the dmg/hit rate was so high if you back attacked. even with magic :lol

I really liked TA2's gameplay, but the cast/story put me to sleep. I stopped playing it out of sheer boredom due to wondering what the point of anything was.

So... the same as most other SRPG's even the Matsuno "Tactics Ogre" series then?
