Wow, I was just reading about Subway's financial problems last week. They expanded significantly a few years ago but business has declined due to a stagnant menu/successful launches of "healthy" alternatives at other fast food restaurants. I actually went there on Sunday for the first time in ages. Got a roast beef sub...it was aite but seeing them pull the meat pack out of the little cubby holes they store stuff in was

Now this Jared shit will hit them too. Ouch. Being associated with RG3 was bad enough.

We've obtained the criminal complaint against Taylor ... and it says police recovered a 4 GB thumb drive and his employer, the Jared Foundation, was listed in a file name. Inside that file was a folder labeled, "Good stuff." Cops found a bunch of child pornography in that folder.

Since Taylor mixed work files with child porn ... it could explain why the FBI is searching Fogle's home. Jared himself, is not mentioned in the docs police found at Taylor's home office.

There's been a ton of accusations of fraud in regards to Quizno's franchising. I think that was probably their biggest problem. I know that locally (St. Louis area) the locations I've known about have been disappearing to the point that I don't even know where I'd find a Quizno's sub anymore.

Always a lil strange to read about american fast food online because the american franchises in Norway generally make good food, I find. Not restaurant food, but good enough that I don't feel the need to do some sort of self-loathing ritual as part of eating it. They (McDonalds, Burgerking, Subway) do generally make points about how they "locally source" their wares, so maybe it's actually better than what's available in America (it certainly is more expensive)? I don't think I've ever eaten fast food when traveling, so I can't really say.

It's because over here they make a million versions of that franchise and over expand, forcing them to use ingredients. Whereas abroad, they tend to keep their location expansion in check and use quality ingredients because they don't have to cater 318 million people. Then again, I hear China's American franchises are still better than American versions and they've got billions.
