This was a sandwich at Quizno's that I really liked and I don't remember what it was because this was like 10 years ago, but they dropped it off the menu and I stopped going. When they closed down a few years later, I shed no tears.  :ufup

Looks like it aired 6 episodes, then the writers guild strike happened.

:lol @ Wikipedia page:
Quote
Based on the GEICO Cavemen commercials, which were also written by Lawson, the show was described by the network as a "unique buddy comedy that offers a clever twist on stereotypes and turns race relations on its head".

Quote
The initial limited screening of the pilot episode was met with a less than favorable reception. The pilot was accused of being racist[13] because some critics thought the Cavemen were being used as a metaphor for blacks and other minorities.[14] The series subsequently underwent a major creative "retooling", which included changing the show's venue from Atlanta, Georgia to San Diego, California.[15][16] The pilot episode has remained unaired on ABC.

Show is more relevant than ever. Reboot?

Yeah, Quiznos had this sandwich that was GOAT-tier fast food sandwich and I got it nearly once a week, but then they dumped it from the menu. I went back once or twice more, but it just wasn't the same.

To be honest,  I love Subway's tuna on the oat bread. I can smash one of those faster than anything; I miss being able to buy a 12" and eat half for lunch, half for dinner. In Japan the 12" is just twice the cost of the 6".

SARASOTA, Fla. (July 10, 2015) — A Florida woman who provided key information to federal authorities, leading to a raid at former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle’s Indiana home Tuesday, revealed one of the comments Fogle allegedly said to her.

The Florida woman, who asked not to be identified and said earlier this week that she’s had numerous conversations with Fogle, revealed the new information to WWSB. Federal authorities confirmed to FOX59 that the Florida woman provided key information that led to Tuesday morning’s raid.

The woman originally said she wouldn’t elaborate on what transpired during conversations with Fogle, but she did reveal that he told her numerous times that “middle school girls are hot,” the TV station reported.

“They weren’t jokes. They were very serious,” the woman told WWSB.

The comments alarmed her so much that she contacted authorities. She later wore a wire and recorded her conversations with Fogle.

my biggest concern here is that people might now hesitate to adopt the subway diet, despite years of empirical data and research vying for it's effectiveness.

My hair is still super thick.  Every time I get it cut the hairdresser always comments on how thick it is, I'll have you know.  Also my new super gay hairdresser seems to run his fingers though it for just a little too long, so I know its still good.

Chicken teriyaki or italian or veggie are usually my picks at Subway. Usually Chicken Teriyaki.

Chicken teriyaki w/ sauce, w/ lettuce, tomato, olives, jalapenos, onions, peppers, cheese, oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. :drool Load my sandwich up with them veggies! :drool

It's almost getting close to making a valid point, in that possessing images of a crime is definitely not the same thing as committing the crime itself, but willfully ignores what is known about how people obtain images like that through clandestine black markets. Like, you don't just Google around until you find a Zip file on some file sharing service and then download it to your computer, that's not how child pornography is obtained by these people, and descending that deep into that kind of world is a huge problem in and of itself.

Plus, you know, there's the obvious problem.

Jared Fogle’s appearance in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! has been cut from the film following the FBI’s raid on the Subway spokesman’s house in Indiana on Tuesday. The raid took place two months after Russell Taylor, formerly the head of the Fogle-founded nonprofit the Jared Foundation, was charged by federal prosecutors with the production and possession of child pornography.

A spokesman for Syfy, which is broadcasting the horror threequel on July 22, has confirmed to EW that a cameo appearance Fogle had shot for the film would not be seen in the finished cut.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-07-09/subway-planned-to-rebrand-jared-fogle-as-a-family-man-before-fbi-raid
Quote
Before federal investigators raided the home of Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle, the company was in the midst of rebranding him to revive stagnant sales. No charges have been filed against Fogle, and FBI officials have declined to discuss the nature of the investigation. But there's no question that the upheaval has halted Subway's latest ad campaign—one that portrays Fogle as a family man keeping the weight off with a consistent diet of Subway sandwiches.

In an animated TV spot released this year, a narrated cartoon shows a sweater-clad Fogle as a new father taking his wife, Katie McLaughlin, and their two young kids—the couple have a three-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter—to a nearby Subway store. The commercial exemplifies Subway’s dependence on Fogle as its sole ambassador—a pop culture relic of the early 2000s who helped build Subway’s reputation as a health-conscious fast-food alternative. Now, as the company struggles to stay relevant among such emerging competitors as Chipotle Mexican Grill and Jimmy John’s, Fogle and his new image were poised to help revive the world’s biggest fast-food chain.

“My life has evolved,” Fogle told Bloomberg Businessweek in an exclusive interview on June 17. “The next step in my story is I have a family, and a lot of parents can relate to that. You want to be a role model for your children, and obviously one of the most important things is maintaining the weight, keeping it off.”

Fogle’s updated family-man image was rolling out just as McDonald’s was releasing a remade Ronald McDonald, KFC was bringing back the Colonel, and Burger King was reviving its crown-clad mascot. But unlike fictional fast-food mascots, launching a new Jared campaign meant framing a narrative around real-life changes. "I’m not just a stagnant person like some of those other mascots," Fogle said. "I hope to be a great parent and a great role model for kids anywhere. I hope to be with Subway for a long time to come."

Guys, 16 is legal in many states. By definition he is not a pedophile. He is a ebebioanimuphile. It's entirely different and I'm offended that you would denigrate his name like this. Like calling someone a racist, calling someone a pedophile is one of the worst things you can do to another person.
