I guess that's what you get when you only have a 3 (?) man team.  :'(

At least there's Star Citizen.

They may only have three people, but their mind is on their money and money is definitely on their mind.

Sorta wish there was a $150 Minecraft limited edition box with a creeper robot doll and a real pickaxe.

The Bore is, more or less, pre-2008 GAF. Just not as large.

I remember how as soon as my account was registered there in '09 things started to degenerate into outrage olympics.

So it's your fault then.

It's not that I don't want to. My job doesn't quite make enough money. I've ran the numbers several times. Technically I make enough to get a cheap apartment, but my budget would be extremely tight. Plus, for my first place I would feel more comfortable moving out with someone else. I've tried several times to find a roommate (preferably someone I know) but to no avail. I guess there's no reason to rush these things. It'll happen when it happens.

Anyone else in their late 20's or early 30's that has never moved out?

No Man’s Sky has a beautiful galaxy to explore, but is that enough? - VG247

During the hands-on I found myself frequently bored, even while those around me seemed rapturous with delight. The shooting felt floaty, and, while there’s some cool tech that lets you blow holes in the ground with grenades, there doesn’t appear to be anything on the ground to actually fight beyond the droids you anger by destroying the worlds you visit.

A big argument against No Man’s Sky is going to hinge on the $60 price point and I think in terms of the work that’s gone into it, it’s absolutely worth that price. Aesthetically and technically it’s a massive achievement, and if you like the idea of exploring an infinite galaxy at your own pace then I couldn’t recommend it enough. If you were expecting an actual game under all of that framework though, you might, like me, be entirely disappointed.

who is this More_Badass mod and why the jock riding of NMS in the thread. ??? ???

NFLGaf is now on the chopping block?

They really want the non loyal long time users out the system.

Yet the kickball/diveball/soccer thread lives on...

 :usacry

nah they killed that one too. The current thread now is just a reanimated corpse.

I remember seeing the list of new mods and thinking, who is that dude?

Turns out More_Badass is the dude that's been defending the fuck out of No Man's Sky in every single thread. He's also a dumbass.

Who the fuck is designating these prices? Mr Magic Hands Illuminati? Videogame prices are the way they are because of revenue margins, analyzing or number crunching the risk and reward of  higher or lower prices versus how many units you sell.

I would not be surprised if he's a astroturfer that got modded.

My father is getting old, 73, and needs assistance so I moved back to my home town last year to help him. I work and do all the cleaning (he has five cats), cooking,  and errands, I also plan to go back to school next year. He lost half a leg due to diabetes/gangrene, is half blind, had two brain aneurysms, and has titanium knees... so he can't do too much on his own. He's had a rough life but he's very positive and I don't want him in a home, my great-grand mother died in one from mistreatment. I plan to get a house I can renovate so he has his own area for ease of access and independence.
This is a personal fear of mine. I really hope my mom continues to be able to take care of herself, because she hasn't got anyone but me and retirement homes around these parts sound really fucking dodgy. :fbm

Parents should change the locks and sit their shit on the curb.

Did anyone seriously expected anything else ? I guess so judging by the comments in the Gaf thread and the amount of Sony generated hype that limited edition is a sign of... Seems pretty obvious it is foolish to expect solid infinite random generation, somewhat intensive graphics and killer complex gameplay, let alone delivered by a small studio. First item on that list is pretty exciting by itself and could be worth the money to some if they managed to pull it.

Totally agreed with Miles there. I live in one of the most expensive housing markets in the country, I don't know anyone who moved out before they turned 28 and/or got married. Except my girlfriend who moved out when she was 23 to blow the majority of her paycheck on a tiny converted garage apartment. If your family are easy to get along with and you get enough freedom, why not save up? Why blow your money on rent instead of an investment?

meeb is a handsome man. Honestly, if you can just calmly and confidently tell girls you're close to that you're a virgin (to show you're well-adjusted/honest), then they'll totally ask you out. You're probably attractive to them and you being unsullied will just make them race to be the first if you're concern is with getting over that initial experience. That's what happened to me in my early 20's.

Which is funny because we all know guys who would give their left nut to be around girls like that. :lol

Edit: actually on second thought most them did have boyfriends except for the... large one.

And the one I had the hots for was very much in a "Fuck off, thirsty guys. I don't want a boyfriend. I already have too much other shit I need to deal with." mood the last time I saw her.

I'd love to be the guy who says he saw that from a mile a way, but I'm not the only one because it's been obvious from the start. Usually when a game promises too much while the footage shows little, it means there was never much to show in the first place and the promises are marketing terms being thrown around.

I really don't get who buys into this stuff.

I mean if it was Blizzard that promised this then maybe I'd be inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt, but not some no name indie.

They could have made the game a gazillion times more appealing to the masses if they added in a multiplayer factor where you could duke it out in space against other ships as well, would give some motivation to explore and upgrade too. Could even be a PvP galaxy or something so it wouldn't hinder the PvE folks.

I hope, for our sakes, that Karakand (pbuh) is smiling smirking down upon us from above the void for our loveless presuit for nooky. :doge

sex without love is nice. But it doesn't last. you always have to find someone new eventually.
Also, there's just something about having someone that knows you for years having at you sexually without inhibitions.
Trying to get a woman to dress up like an anime character and scream "oniiichan!!!" while she pegs you with a dragon dildo?
Good luck trying to get that on first date.

Yeah sex without love is fun for a while but usually one of you sobers up and calls time. The most brutal one, I said I was going away for a couple of weeks and never messaged her again even though she texted me that she knew it only a booty call situation. Straight up blanked her messages which was cold, but our little affair had run it's course and I don't know, something about actually sleeping in her bed just made me cringe. I would bail as soon as the first trains started up.

Although it is always a small thrill when you see what former fuckbuddies are up to, I accidentally came across one of my former FB's instagram profiles really cute Austrian girl. Turns out she's getting married soon to some guy and is now all prim, proper and respectable. I actually remembered I still had a video of when I took her anal cherry and came up her ass while she screams about loving my black cock.

Good times.

Pigeon is totally going to be a GAF mod by this time next year, isn't he?

I can't stand the dude and find him even more insufferable than the PoliGAF dudes who are straight up brain-damaged, but you just read his posts and know he's probably already on the shortlist.
How can you prefer HylianTom to pigeon? What is even wrong with pigeon?

If you could re-spec Mandark by taking all the points in his humor stat and putting them all into his autism stat, that would be pigeon.

pigeon doesn't seem humorless or "autistic" to me. Seems rather levelheaded, especially for PollinGAF? Maybe he's an acquired taste like Metaphoreus. (Though he used to sometimes be a Democratic version...but so can Black Mamba.)

I can't comment on mod worthiness.

I mean, Steve Youngblood is a mod.

A lot of the prolific ones are just young and this is their first "real" election. Now that PD's dead it would often feel like barely any regulars from the 2012 cycle were still kicking around for weeks at a time. Even some of the ones who went crazy during 2014 are fading if they haven't gotten in the Hillary cult.

I'm concerned how they'll take the Trump victory though. Maybe I should set up counseling services in the room next door for those feeling invalidated or traumatized.

Start a relocation business where they pay you to get them somewhere out of the country. Find them a job that pays for enough to live, a apartment to rent or home to make payments on.

Ship them out to somewhere cheap and make a ton of cash doing it.

they'll start pointing fingers at everyone except themselves, per usual.  Protect the party at all costs.

They still blame Nader for 2000 despite the hundreds of thousands of Democrats that voted Bush in Florida
