I watched the Quick Look last night.  Seriously, it's one of the best looking games I've ever seen.  Not just in terms of graphics but also camera positioning, the focal lengths of the lenses, cuts between shots, etc.  ND obviously put in a lot thought and work into directing the game in a way that would leave you feeling like you were watching a high production value movie without coming off as super try hard, unlike for example Bioshock Infinite.

yeah Naughty Dog stans are the Jehovah's Witnesses of video games.  But even so, UC4 looks really fucking good as both a video game and an "experience."

its too late for that. too much money is being made on both for that to happen. comic movies and games would have to fail in droves for that to happen. im gonna be honest though, i never thought the dc/marvel fan wars would take up again on a new stage, and even somehow be even more dramatic than its comic counterparts

IGN has just adopted a policy of "reviews in progress" with a provisional and final score to account for issues arising post release and a window to test multiplayer in its public state. I don't think they changed their score because or nerd rage but the optics are pretty damning I guess and it's an indictement of why the whole idea of a provisional score is dumb : what it tries to do would be more simply achieved by posting the review when it is done or getting rid of scores altogether. Without the obligation of giving a "be-all end-all" single score, you're more at liberty to make a complementary review or re-examining a game down the line.
