Now I'll admit that I'm not a fan of MS's consoles and vastly prefer Sony and Nintendo consoles, but that's more so because they get the types of games I'm into. And that the only 2 consoles I've ever owned that I've had issues with were the original Xbox (dead disk drive) and the 360 (RROD, of course).

I kinda want to get Pokemon Red/Yellow again just to be able to catch the 151 with wifi trading. Though in my heart I know Gen-1 (and 2) weren't really that balanced and kinda glitchy.

I replayed Gen 1 shortly before X/Y came out. Still a very fun game to be honest.

The lack of running shoes can be a bit off putting at first, but it stopped bothering me quickly. The maps are miniature enough to make up for it. But I totally see where you're coming from.

(With that said though, I love the remake more.)
