Lol thread got locked by 'modbot' for a 'cleanup' I hope they're not removing the posts saying that if this was Ubi or one of MS teams caught doing this, the outrage would be immense.

Dude stans C. Viper hardcore.
She was definitely one of the least played characters in SFIV due to her being a incredibly technical/execution heavy character. Probably the hardest character in the game to play well as.

Execution or not, I don't recall her inclusion in Marvel vs Capcom 3 being met with "FUCK YEAH!"s

So with the semi-confirmation of the new Zelda coming to NX, it reminded me of the clear split between Zelda fans when it was announced that Twilight Princess would be releasing on both the GameCube and the Wii, which made me wonder, how would such a split look today with the upcoming Zelda game? Also, if the NX version came out a few weeks earlier than the Wii U version, would that impact your decision at all? I think if the NX version came out first, I'd get that, but if the Wii U version came out first, I don't think I'd have the patience to wait for the NX version. As a bonus, tell us which version of Twilight Princess you ended up getting (for those of you who owned Twilight Princess, of course). I went with the Wii version because I was totally smitten by the concept of Wii at the time.EDIT:Let's assume that the NX version will be the definitive version, with visual and performance improvements like 1080p/60fps, 4k/30fps.
My first son was born last October. He's called Heitor, and he's a beautiful four-month old boy now.Since I'm a big nerd, I once tried to put him to sleep to the sound of "Meet Again Zelda", a variation of "Zelda's Lullaby" from Ocarina of Time. It worked really well! He loves the song and usually sleeps pretty quickly while listening to it.Since them, I've been gathering a few calm and relaxing tracks for him, and I would love if you all could suggest a few songs. These are the ones on my playlist right now:- Meet Again Zelda (Ocarina of Time)- Kids Run Through the City (Final Fantasy VI)- Celes (Final Fantasy VI)- Coin Song (Final Fantasy VI)- Daily Life (Xenoblade)- Cuddle (Star Ocean The Second Story)- Buzz Buzz's Prophecy (Earthbound)As you can see, I usually go for retrogames, since their soundtracks tend to be more melodic and relaxing, but I'm open to new stuff too. Thanks!

Wait so the guy who breaks controllers/game disks and eats instruction manuals has a kid? That shouldn't be shrugged off, a person with rage like that shouldn't be around children or teens. He's going to snap one day at them.

I think Hillary Derangement Syndrome is starting to approach Obama levels. Bernie created a monster and now he can't control it.
Nothing will ever top 2008 for me.It was a magical time. As a die hard Obama supporter, we lived what the Bernie bros only dream of experiencing. Also our candidate wasn't a fraud.
Good.As I hope it is. I don't know man...something inside me has awoken to where I have an instantly negative reaction to anyone supporting Sanders in real life. Fairly or notI need a drink. Fuck me, this election is getting to me.
To be honest, I was there a few weeks ago. I kinda had to force myself to chill out, because I remember how I would argue for hours that Hillary could totally make up that 100 delegate disadvantage. So, maybe I just feel a bit of sympathy having lived through that. However, I have no sympathy for Sander's campaign. I want them all to lose and lose hard.
BLM is one of the few bright spots in our dystopic present world of historic inequality, neoliberal late-capitalism, conflict minerals, global exploitation, rampant consumer culture, NSA-GCHQ mass surveillance, global warming, oligarchy, extrajudicial drone strikes based on big data alghorithms, and destabilized regions. BLM showed us (and still show us) that in a world of apathy, fatalism and defeatist thinking (all thanks to neoliberal values making us think that we are only individuals who cannot accomplish anything single-handledly), it is still possible to collectively band together and demand justice in a severely unjust world. All the activists and people fighting everyday (and the people surviving White supremacy everyday) deserve recognition (the Nobel peace prize-tier or something) for what they've done and hopefully inspire others to do the same. The media narrative should be the same.
We have experience with "the Poor" who are driving relatively new cars stealing licence plates so they don't have to pay for auto insurance. Caught three guys driving two cars, one was a lookout, stealing the licence plate off my car. The officer who responded to my 911 call told me what they were doing. Everything is cash so there is no record of earnings, they can't have a title to a car, it might be stolen or just a cash purchase. No insurance again because no title and who needs insurance if you have no assets. We had a nice long talk about what I could do to stop them...NOTHING, I can't threaten and say I have a gun even though I don't, if I had a gun I can't arrest them, shoot into the engine block to stop them from fleeing....anything or I go to jail. So cameras but try to get a DA to prosecute.
Gaming the system is not considered criminal. A Licence plate is only $45 so no DA want's to prosecute. Driving without Insurance is again not "criminal" but tell that to the guy you permanently disable. The IRS works on commissions so an agent will not go after anyone without assets...hide them well enough and you have gamed the system. Change your name from Gomez to Christian-Heart which screws with computer systems and sounds good to prospective victims. Commit fraud and co-start a Ponzi scheme collect $50,000 then stop paying on your house and business property. 7 years later and you still live in that house and the States Attorney decides to give you States Witness immunity. There is so much of this; My wife and I were in separate traffic accidents where no one was injured but we were sued for $400,000 ($2000 damage to her car and no damage except scratched paint to the other car)) and $200,000. ($600 damage to my car $1200 to the other car) My insurance company always pays in mediation despite the doctors saying they were not injured. These are the little things that make you disgusted with the system and vote for Trump. Yes the OP was an attempt by a politician to tap into this disgust with the system. Who legitimately needs help and who is gaming the system, can a federal government police this as well as a local community organization like a church?
I feel like you're lacing words together to try to make your point stand out more. Wants and desires are the same thing, nobody "needs" steak/candy. So in summary, what you are really saying is that people have their own desires. My entire practice as a Buddhist and vegan revolves around eliminating such desires, so I personally have no sympathy for these arguments. Not everyone shares an unrealistic romanticized view of the world where we should all run around free fulfilling our desires - many people consider that attitude destructive, myself included.
QuoteBravo. We should all bow at how much better you are than the rest of us.I suppose I do see myself as superior in certain contexts. For example, I don't quote your posts and just call you a dumbass and leave - I could, but I guess I'm above that. It's just childish to me. At the very least, I absolutely have a large ego.QuoteAs an aside, I really hate people who speak like you do, you remind me of a Thomist Philosophy major I know and the way he talks is so self-righteous and condescending it's painful. Like you're the only one capable of intelligent or rational thought because you have a certain belief system and others don't.It is precisely because everyone is capable of rational thought that I even partake in this discussion. The problem here is more ego than lack of intellect, you all have the intellectual capacity to understand basic philosophical thought.QuoteYou lack empathy.I lack a lot of things - patience, forgiveness, empathy, compassion, etc. So do you, if there was anyone here that didn't lack these things we would literally be the 2nd coming of [insert your god.] The reality is that people with these fantastical self-less traits don't really exist.
Bravo. We should all bow at how much better you are than the rest of us.

Yeah, let's cry over that post getting someone banned.
I don't necessarily want to either, but of course there's bias with how much his music has impacted me. Also, googling just him shows that he's been doing some press rounds for the album in June very recently, so this timing certainly doesn't seem coincidental. Not implying something one way or the other about the supposed victim, she could've simply been triggered by seeing an article somewhere and enough was enough and she had to let it out.
The worst is how critical he was of the same sleazebag behavior in his lyrics. If the allegations are true, then it just makes things all the more upsetting for me. He wrote angry music but always came off as a good person who wanted a better world. Never imagined Gira would be one of those he pointed at with scorn. I'll be heartbroken if it's true.
I still don't know to react to this. I tried comparing it to Varg Vikerness, another artist that I'm aware of that has done some bad things (murder, racist) but I listen to their music. I learned about the whole Varg thing before I listened to Mayhem or Burzum. So by the time I did listen, it didn't matter anymore.I'm a bigger fan of Michael Gira than I am of Varg (really only listen to Burzums first couple vs most of Swans albums). Maybe that, and that this is current news is the difference? I don't want to compare the crimes, they're both horrible. But I can listen to Burzum and not care, but I'm having trouble with Swans.Ugh this just fucking sucks.
The woman went to see the Chippendales tonight. Made me curious, what's everyone's opinions on strip shows? Male or female.Personally, I don't see the appeal. I think it's weird sitting in a room with a bunch of other people throwing money at a girl to take her clothes off. I also see/hear a lot of women say they go "because it's funny" but I don't really see how that works either. Guess I'm just kind of turned off to it. Anyone?
Though, video game themed burlesque and strip clubs would be the shit. Like I just want some chick undressing as Faith and I am set.
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1190447The reactions are alien to me. My first thoughts would not be "can i still enjoy the entertainment they provide if true?"
